End Child Labor
This page highlights forced child labor (modern day slavery) in the cobalt and cocoa industries. COBALT, primarily mined in the Congo, is used in the lithium-ion batteries found in most rechargeable electronic devices. COCOA, primarily harvested in the Ivory Coast, is the basis for chocolate. Both industries have profited immensely from the exploitation of countless children.International Rights Advocates (IRAdvocates) is currently taking legal action against transnational corporations that are knowingly profiting from child slavery in the aforementioned cases. Learn more and find ways to take action below. This page is run by volunteers working to further the mission of IRAdvocates.TOGETHER WE CAN DEFEAT GIANTS.
